Fashion Law Gift to BMW from Mercedes

A Fashion Law Lesson in Marketing: For BMW’s 100th birthday, it’s competitor, Mercedes-Benz, posted this video to its own social media and ran a still ad image (of the trademark BMW double grill) in newspapers.

This type of congratulations is not only a showing of community over competition but also great marketing for Mercedes who got to remind customers that they have been around longer.
